Covid-19
Covid-19 has added an additional element to our safe learning protocols. We fully comply with all recommendations and restrictions put in place by Nova Scotia Public Health and stay up to date on any updates or changes to those directives.
In-Class Safety Measures
Training sessions may be offered online or through a remote video link where possible.
All of our training equipment is thoroughly sanitized.
In-person sessions are restricted in class size to provide social distancing.
Masks are worn by instructors and participants at all times during in-person training, except when they must be removed for specific exercises or when sitting socially distanced at a desk.
Vaccination
Vaccination is a critical public health measure to help combat COVID-19 and there is overwhelming scientific evidence that these vaccines are safe.
All Complete Safety Training Instructors and staff who may have dealings with the public are fully vaccinated.
Currently, the Province of Nova Scotia does not require vaccination for anyone seeking essential services.
Since it is often required to obtain or maintain employment and is considered a necessity that contributes to the health and well being of our society, First Aid & CPR certification has been designated an essential service by Nova Scotia Public Health.
As a result, Complete Safety Training does not require proof of vaccination on the part of our participants.
Cancellation
Due to the rapid changes to restrictions in response to COVID, in-class courses may be cancelled or postponed on short notice.
Please let us know in advance of any scheduled in-person training if any of the following occurs, and we will either reschedule your training without penalty or provide you with a remote learning option:
You or anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID, been quarantined, or travelled outside Nova Scotia in the previous 14 days.
You have had direct contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID, been quarantined, or travelled outside Nova Scotia in the previous 14 days.
